Founder & CEO

Joshua Lopez is the founder and CEO of Lopez & Associates, LLC (“Lopez & Associates”). Lopez & Associates is a business development, community and government relations firm based in Washington, DC. Since its inception in 2014, Lopez & Associates has worked hand in hand with industry leaders to ensure maximum inclusion of District based small businesses on construction and development projects.

With over 15 years of private and public sector experience, its founder Joshua Lopez has been a community leader and firm advocate for local and small business enterprises. In addition to business development, Lopez & Associates has coordinated opportunity fairs and other networking activities to generate awareness for local business participation and created hiring opportunities for District residents. Lopez & Associates’ knowledge of business procedures, governmental regulations, policies and legislation, and business inclusion have proved invaluable for industry and community partners alike.

As a native Washingtonian, Joshua Lopez is a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia where he holds a B.A. in History and M.S. in Homeland Security. Mr. Lopez is also a political strategist, having worked on political campaigns in both international and domestic settings. Mr. Lopez brings 20 years of civic engagement experience having served as a political appointee for three mayoral administrations and as an elected civic official in Washington, DC. Currently Mr. Lopez serves as the Vice Chair of the DC Hispanic Contractors Association and as a board member for numerous community non-profits.
